1st Alumni Game a Great Success

Posted Sunday, October 15, 2006 by Tony Frascogna

The first ever Pat-Med Alumni Baseball Game was a great time. Twenty seven former players and former Coach Tom Grimm were on hand for the game. Everyone had a great time and we promise to make this a tradition.

They say pitching wins championships, well the same can be said for alumni games. The Odd Year graduates faced off against their Even Year classmates in a nine inning ball game. Rich Thoden, Jeff Porter, Clete Murphy, Joe Greco and Paul Dominguez combined for the shut out as the Odd years won the game 5-0. Joe Greco hit a monsterous Home Run to highlight the Odd Year offense. Bryan Felice played solid defense at third base.

It's safe to say the old guys can still play. We are already looking forward to next year. Keep checking the site for new photos as they will be added during the upcoming week.
