Long Ball Propels Raiders over William Floyd

The Raiders hit five home runs in route to a 19-3 win over William FLoyd in the first game of the series. Marcus Stroman, Nick Monaco, and Chris Phelan each hit home runs with Monaco and Phelan hitting two each. Stroman went 4 for 4 on the day including two singles, a double and two stolen bases to go along with his home run.

Mike Smith pitched a complete game allowing two earned runs while striking out four. He helped himself defensively with two putouts and three assists.

Mike Stephani got his first varsity hit in the bottom of the sixth inning. The win moved the Raiders to 7-0 in League I.
