Raiders Sweep Ward Melville

The Raiders swept Ward Melville on Thursday behind Marcus Stroman's one-hit shutout. Stroman pitched a complete game allowing only a leadoff single in the fourth inning. He struck out six on the day, allowing three walks and one hbp.

Stroman also went 2 for 4 at the plate with a double and two RBI's. Dan Farrell and Mike Smith helped with the offense as well with farrell contributing two hits and a run scored, and smith having a double, two runs scored and 2 RBI's.

The Raiders surrendered no earned runs for the week and had an error-free game on Thursday. The win moved the Raiders to 12-0 in League I.
