Chris Phelan threw a complete game, eight-hitter to lead the Raiders to an 8-4 win over Lindenhurst in Game 2 of the series. Phelan struck out seven, walked one and gave up three earned runs in the victory.
Offensively, the Raiders jumped to a 3-0 lead on Nick Monaco's opposite field two-run home run in the fourth inning. Dom Dipresso's single in the fifth inning drove in Marcus Stroman with what proved to be the winning run making the score 5-1. Stroman also led the Raiders with two hits, a run scored and two stolen bases.
Jon Newman had a productive day at the plate with a double, two RBI's and a sacrifice bunt. Terrence Bohonan also had a single and two runs scored.
The win improved the Raiders record to 13-1 in League I.
