Patchogue-Medford jumps on Longwood early and coasts to 15-0 win

Patchogue-Medford refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Longwood, recording a 15-0 victory on Wednesday at Pat-Med High School.

The game was decided quickly as Patchogue-Medford exerted its will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

A home run by Matt Vogel in the first inning and an RBI double by Cash Mahoney and a walk by Frankie Capraro in the second inning supplied the early offense for Patchogue-Medford.

 

Vogel had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.  Erich Carroll was also 3 for 3 on the day.

 

 

Peter Martino kept Longwood off the board during his six innings of work.Martino allowed two hits, three walks and struck out seven.

Patchogue-Medford hammered Longwood pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
