The Raiders get on top ofLongwood early but can't hang on in 5-4 loss

The Raiders jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-4 to Longwood on Tuesday.

While the Raiders led until the seventh inning, Longwood worked its way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Harris.


John Shwonik racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Raiders. He singled in the first and second innings.


Killackey got the win for Longwood. He tossed 1 2/3 innings of shutout ball. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Longwood was sparked by Harris and Floyd, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
