A tight game was decided in the sixth inning as the Raiders fell to Longwood 5-0 in seven innings on Thursday at Patchogue-Medford High School.
Tyler Conlon looked sharp on the mound. Conlon held Longwood hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Thomas got the win in relief for Longwood. Thomas pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed no runs.
Longwood never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning, scoring five runs on an RBI double by Floyd, a sacrifice fly by Greco, two singles, and a hit by pitch.
