Raider Score Early Oust East

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity jumped on Sachem East early on their way to a 7-3 win on Tuesday at Patchogue-Medford High School in seven innings, scoring six runs in the first inning.

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity scored in the first on a hit by pitch, a walk by Andrew Garcia, an RBI single by Matt Codispoti, a two-run single byRich Ciufo, and a sacrifice fly by Tristan Amone.


Rich racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity.


PJ Martino got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out nine, walked four and surrendered three hits.

Lindenmaier couldn't get it done on the bump for Sachem East, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity scored one run of their own in the third. The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity scored on an RBI single byBrad Malm.

Two Sachem East runs crossed the plate in the top half of the sixth, making the score 7-3. A sacrifice fly by Bashen and an RBI single by Trifaro gave Sachem East life. But, Eric Deutsch got Rivera to ground out to end the inning.
