By defeating Floyd's ace Derek Squires, Pat-Med improved to 9-2 in League I and clinched a spot in the county playoffs for the fourth straight year. Sophmore Mike Smith outlasted the senior, pitching 6 solid innings, allowinf only 2 earned runs and picked up his third league win. Mike Salvatore's 2 out 2 run single gave the Raiders the lead in the 5th. Mike broke Squire's bid for a no-hitter with a single in the fourth. Jimmy Fuoco's RBI single in the 6th proved to be the difference in the 5-4 win. Once again the Raiders played solid defense on a windy, cold day. James Floro set a team record as he picked up his third save.
