The Raiders survive Brentwood 6-1 thanks to Andrew Garcia's late-game heroics
Andrew Garcia brought home the winning run to give the Raiders the lead in the seventh inning, as the Raiders hung on to beat Brentwood 6-1 on Tuesday. Zach Genaway added a three run blast. His first of the season
walked to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Anthony Schiano
Garcia had a hot bat for the Raiders. Garcia went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.
Josh Browning baffled Brentwood, striking out 10 batters. Josh Browning allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks over five innings.
Mike Cardone got the win in relief for the Raiders. Cardone pitched two innings and allowed no runs.
Andrew Medina was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed one run.
The lone run of the game for Brentwood crossed the plate in the third inning on a solo home run by Medina.
