An ace performance by Andrew Garcia spurred the Raiders to a 12-0 win in seven innings over Longwood on Monday at Patchogue-Medford High School.

The Raiders' Garcia kept Longwood off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out eight.

The Raiders' bats came to life in the fourth inning. Longwood had no answer as the Raiders scored seven runs. The Raiders scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Brad Malm, a two-run double by Garcia, an RBI single by Zach Genaway, and a three-run home run by Brett Malm.

Garcia racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Raiders.

The Raiders easily handled Longwood pitching as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored.

Simpson was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out six.

The Raiders never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on a two-run home run by Garcia.
