The Raiders jumped out to an early lead on Longwood and captured a 15-1 victory on Tuesday at Longwood High School.
The game was decided quickly as the Raiders exerted their will early with nine runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Zach Genaway and an RBI single by Brett Malm during the first inning and a two-run double by Ronny Linsalato, an RBI single byAndrew Garcia, and a sacrifice fly by Malm in the second inning fueled the Raiders' offense early.
Vito Morabito was hot from the plate for the Raiders. Morabito went 3-4, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.
Josh Browning's six strikeouts were enough to push the Raiders past Longwood. Josh Browning allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over seven innings.
Owens ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
The Raiders matched their three-run third inning with three more in the sixth. In the third, the Raiders scored on a three-run double by Garcia, bringing home Tristan Amone, Morabito and Matt Codispoti.
