First-inning rally sparks win for thePatchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity, 7-0

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity jumped out to an early lead onSachem East (Farmingville, NY) and captured a 7-0 victory on Monday at Home.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity to put the game away early.

An error, , an RBI double by Josh Mercurio, an RBI single by Tristan Amone, and an RBI single by Dan Codispoti during the first inning fueled the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity's offense early.

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity came out swinging, scoring five runs in the first inning to jump ahead of Sachem East early.


The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity's Amone kept Sachem East off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up two.


The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity were sparked by Brad Malm andVito Morabito, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs.

Ramset couldn't get it done on the rubber for Sachem East , taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fifth. In the third, the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity scored on an RBI single by Codispoti, bringing home Morabito.
