He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.
Josh Rovner picked up the win for the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity. Josh Rovner allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out three over seven innings of work.
Lopiccolo was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
In the top of the second, the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity grabbed the early lead, 2-0. Erik Matz started the rally for the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity with a double. Vito Morabito then stole home. The Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity then tacked on more runs when Codispoti scored on an RBI double by Matz.
It didn't take long for Sachem East to answer as it scored two runs of its own in the second. Sachem East scored on an error and a sacrifice fly by Karl.
The lead stayed with the Patchogue-Medford Raiders Varsity after the third, when they scored two runs on a two-run single by Josh Mercurio.
